研究テーマ

Policy research aimed at promoting the transition to a circular economy for plastics by considering the entire life cycle of plastics, with special focus on “Product Design”. Policy options that countries under different conditions can introduce from the perspectives of effectiveness and feasibility.

総合生存学館を選んだ理由

I am currently serving as a Programme Management Officer for plastic pollution management projects at United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). In supporting policy development in Asia and the Pacific countries, I sought to acquire a systematic academic foundation. When I encountered a 3rd transfer program that allows for a balance between full-time professional responsibilities and studies, I decided to join the GSAIS.

将来のビジョン

To drive a global shift toward responsible plastic production and consumption, and contribute to the realization of a world free from hunger, malnutrition, and poverty. Indeed, it is an ultimate goal.
